WBGU show visits art center, fire museum

Wassenberg Art Center and the Central Insurance Fire Museum will both be featured on the WBGU-TV produced program “Scenic Stops”.

Wassenberg’s segment will air at 8 p.m. Thursday, January15, and will include an interview with Executive Director Hope Wallace. The program will also include a tour of the fire museum located on the lower level of Central Insurance Companies’ home office on South Washington Street in Van Wert.

The program will also feature the Shroyer Truck Museum in Celina, as well as interviews with two comic book illustrators who live in Ohio.

The weekly travel and tourism style show is hosted by Lima resident Kathleen Phipps and produced by an Emmy Award-winning staff.  The half-hour program highlights unique, unusual or unknown people and places in northwest Ohio.
