Umpire training classes announced

The Midwest Buckeye Umpire’s Association in Van Wert will be holding instructional classes for those interested in obtaining an Ohio High School Athletic Association license to umpire high school baseball games for the 2015 season.

Classes will begin on February 9 and will be held every Monday at 6 p.m. at Van Wert High School until the conclusion of the course on March 23. Cost of the class is $135, which includes all instructional materials as well as local and state association dues for the 2015 season. I
