With over 25 people in attendance, the group heard from County Extension Director Curtis Young about the four signature programs of Extension available in the county. Van Wert County is privileged to have all four programs offered through OSU Extension available to county residences and businesses.  The programs offered by the Extension office include, Ag and Natural Resources, 4-H and Youth Development, Family and Consumer Sciences and Community Development.

Each of the four areas have educational programs and provide one-on-one assistance to help Ohioans build better lives, businesses and communities. The Extension program is part of the OSU College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Services and is offered to the 88 counties in Ohio.
