Last week the boys’ basketball team beat the Lincolnview Lancers 49 to 39 for a big win. “One thing that helped us beat them was how we were solid on the defensive end and people took charges,” said Mitchell Rickard. The boys will be playing a tough game at Paulding tomorrow, and then another tough one playing Celina at home Saturday.

Last week the pep band traveled to Huntington University and performed during one of their men’s basketball games. “Playing at Huntington is really fun.  It’s a new experience for their crowd so they actually liked to listen and clap for us. It’s a blast!” said Taylor Hughes.

The girls’ basketball team defeated Van Wert Tuesday 44 to 27 for another big win for the Knights. They are now 15-0. “Yeah I think we have what it takes to make it to the state level, if we don’t play selfish, and everyone plays defense, and we don’t give second shots,” said Claire Zaleski. They will be playing Paulding today at home to see if they can keep the winning streak alive.
