Blanche June (Hughes) Bush

Blanche June (Hughes) Bush, 94, of Convoy, died at 10:24 a.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born March 14, 1920, in Ranger, Texas, the daughter of Clark Chester and Allie Victoria (Hopkins) Hughes, who both preceded her in death. On August 8, 1937, she married Howelee Walker “Sonny” Bush, who preceded her in death on October 18, 1998.

Survivors include two daughters, Gay Lee (Allen) Eckhart of Convoy and Vicki Sue (John) Hadlock of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Terry Martin officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from noon until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
