Nancy E. Brumback Kruvand

Nancy E. Brumback Kruvand, 85, of Austin, Texas, died at 4:50 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, in Austin.

She was born February 10, 1929, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of David LaDoyt Brumback II and Gladys (Gilliland) Brumback, who both preceded her in death. She married Mark M. Kruvand, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Charles (Pamela S.) Kruvand of Austin; and one grandson.

A brother, David LaDoyt Brumback III, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 1, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, while family and friends are also invited to meet at Balyeat’s Coffee Shop in downtown Van Wert at 5:30 p.m. Sunday for food and fellowship.

Preferred memorials: Brumback Library in Van Wert.
