FBI searches area house for child porn

DELPHOS — A Delphos man could face charges related to possession of child pornography following the seizure of materials and computers from his residence by agents from the Toledo and Lima offices of the FBI.

The residence of the 65-year-old man, whose name has been withheld pending the filing of charges, was visited by Delphos police officers and FBI agents at approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday. Officers and agents then executed a search warrant at the residence, located in the 400 block of South Franklin Street in Delphos. The warrant was obtained to search of possible child pornography at the residence. Located inside the home were computers and multiple computer-related items, which were all seized. Items seized will be forensically examined by the FBI.

After the analysis of items is completed, the case will be reviewed by a federal prosecutor in the United States District Attorney’s Office in Toledo to determine whether what, if any, charges will be filed against the suspect.
