Academy. Sergeant Brincefield will remain at his current assignment, the Van Wert Post, to serve as an assistant post commander.

Sergeant Brincefield began his Patrol career in September 2003 as a member of the 141st Academy Class. He earned his commission in March of the following year and was assigned to the Van Wert Post, where he was selected as Post “Trooper of the Year” in 2009.

In 2012, he transferred to the Patrol’s Training Academy to serve as an instructor. Later that year, he returned to his most recent assignment at the Van Wert Post, where he was again selected as Post “Trooper of the Year” in 2014.
