Buddy D. Raines Sr.

Buddy Dean Raines Sr., 54, of Van Wert, died Sunday morning, February 8, 2015, at his residence.

He was born May 28, 1960, in Lima, the son of Stella (Alsept) Raines, who survives in Van Wert, and Buddy Raines, who preceded him in death. On April 28, 1990, he married Betty (Pease) Raines, also survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include four children, Buddy D. Raines Jr., Tiffany Raines, Dalton Raines and Isaac Thurston, all of Van Wert; two brothers, Wade (Emma) Raines Sr. and Mike Raines, both of Van Wert; three sisters, Brenda Sue Raines, Linda Argabright and Elaine (Ryan) Barnes, all of Van Wert; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

Calling hours are from noon-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
