3 sentenced, 3 change pleas in CP Court

Three people received community control sentences in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court, while three others entered plea changes during hearings held Wednesday.

Roger Hibbard, 38, of Paulding, was given three years of community control, including up to six months in the Western Ohio Regional Treatment and Habilitation (WORTH) Center in Lima, on two counts of telecommunications harassment, both felonies of the fifth degree. Hibbard will enter the WORTH Center on October 29, after a jail term he is serving ends.

Jill Diller, 40, of Van Wert, also received a three-year community control sentence on one count each of trafficking in a counterfeit controlled substance, a fifth-degree felony, and aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fourth degree.

Court artwork 12-2013 copyShe also received a nine-month jail term on the first count and six months in jail on the second count, to be served concurrently. She must also reimburse the Van Wert Police Department $190 for money expended in purchasing drugs from her.

Lisa Couch, 46, of Van Wert, was given a year of community control on a charge of domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Three people also changed their pleas from not guilty to guilty on Wednesday. They include:

Kyle Heiser, 23, of Celina, pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony offense. A misdemeanor theft charge was dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 25.

Antin Bartley, 20, of Van Wert, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted aggravated possession of drugs, a fourth-degree felony, which was reduced from aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the third degree. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for 9 a.m. March 25.

Lisa Langenkamp, 27, of Van Wert, changed her plea to guilty to a charge of attempted tampering with evidence, a felony 4 (reduced from tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree). A presentence investigation was ordered and Langenkamp will appear for sentencing at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 4
