Photo club creates new bylaws

The Van Wert Area Photography club acting officers, Vice President Stuart Jewett, Secretary Rex Dolby, and Treasurer Karl Gribler met Feb. 19 at the Elks to create new bylaws for the club.  Working from an example supplied by Mike Taylor, the trio studied each page and either kept, changed, or deleted the wording, and added or deleted sections to make it apply to the VWAPC.

Dolby was charged with taking the revisions and composing a new document for the committee to examine.  Following the results of that meeting, the new bylaws will be presented to the membership at the meeting March 13 at 7 p.m. at 114 S. Race St.  The previous bylaws occupied one page, but the new set will be more detailed and fill multiple pages.  The committee looks forward to the bylaws helping the club to create its new identity.
