Election Board clarifies voting site letter

VW County Election Board information

The Van Wert County Board of Elections would like to clarify the notifications (post cards) that were recently sent to all voters in the Van Wert city voting precincts.

The notices were to let people who had previously voted at the Junior Fair Building know that they will now be voting at the Van Wert County Council on Aging building, 220 Fox Road.

There has been no change in early voting or the mail out voting process. If a voter has voted by requesting to have their ballot mailed, or if they had previously gone to the Board of Elections office (120 E. Main St.), they may continue to follow that procedure.

This change is only for voters that actually go the to voting location on Election Day.
