Wapak art center has new activities

WAPAKONETA — Riverside Art Center, located in downtown Wapakoneta, has announced a new slate of activities for its members; visitors are very welcome to drop in.
The art center will be open every Thursday at 6 p.m. for fellowship, socialization and inspiration among artists and those who appreciate art. Riverside’s monthly meeting will be held the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. These meetings are short and involve a demo and socialization.
The April meeting is a special event; it involves a demonstration of Liquitex art products and reservations are required.
The center’s board meeting will be held on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Visitors are invited to sit in. Members are invited to sit in, join the crowd to talk, work on a project, ask for help, or assist in planning a future event. Those who play musical instruments are encouraged to bring them and make music with other musically inclined folks.
