Cecile Marie O’Daffer

Cecile Marie O’Daffer, 98, of Middle Point, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born May 27, 1916, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Melbourne and Nettie (Warmon) Overley, who both preceded her in death. On February 15, 1936, she married William O’Daffer, who died in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Ray O’Daffer of Middle Point; one daughter, Rosemarie Paxton of Cecil; a sister, Irene Jolly of Celina; and a grandson.

A brother, Willard Overley; two sisters, Aletha Knous and Erma Harris; and a grandson, David Paxton, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.
