The donation will be used to purchase physical activity equipment and interactive learning supplies for the YWCA Summer Food Program.

The summer of 2015 will mark the YWCA’s Summer Food Program’s 20th anniversary. Last summer, the YWCA was able to provide 340 registered participants with more than 20,000 meals, including warm breakfasts and lunches, Friday backpacks full of weekend meals and the fresh farmers’ produce market.

YWCA officials were grateful for the donation.

The YWCA is a United Way and Van Wert County Foundation funded agency.
