The weather isn’t the only thing that has been warming up in Convoy. Last Monday the majority of Crestview’s senior government students travelled to “The Windy City” (Chicago) for a two-day trip that included Soldier Field Museum, Cook County’s Criminal Courts, The Daily Center, Millennium Park, and the Museum of Science and Industry. The trip was enjoyed by many. Paige Michael said, “It would have been nice to stay longer in Chicago, but I feel like Mrs. Watson did a really nice job and I had a nice time. My mom was a chaperone and I had a fun group, so that helps”.

Track and Field officially began practice two weeks ago. Since then the boys and girls teams have been practicing in preparation for the first meets of the season. The girls’ team will begin their season at Versailles this Saturday. The boys’ team will have their first meet at Versailles the following weekend, Saturday, April 11.

The Crestview Music Department has been warming up their vocal cords, instruments, and various talents in preparation for their annual Dinner Theatre performance. With a theme like ‘Broadway’ the entertainment possibilities are endless! Knight Vision senior Taylor Hughes said, “I’m really excited for my senior year of dinner theatre because it’s one of my favorite performances. We have some much fun, on and off stage. I’m super excited about some of the songs we are doing and can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working so hard on!” Dinner Theatre will be held Friday evening, March 27 at Crestview as well as Saturday evening, March 28.
