Council on Aging sets Senior Health Fair

Van Wert Manor will offer a free Senior Health Fair at the Van Wert Council on Aging’s Senior Center on Wednesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. until noon.  Van Wert Manor, a longtime supporter of the Council on Aging, will provide information booths along with blood pressure and glucose level screenings.

This is an excellent opportunity for senior citizens to have these screenings done at no cost.  No appointment or reservation is necessary.

Those who want to have lunch that day at a cost of $2.50 must call by 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, to reserve lunch. For those who have never eaten at the Senior Center Luncheon Café, the first meal is provided at no cost.

The Council on Aging is an advocate for independent living in later years and is partially funded by United Way of Van Wert County and the Van Wert County Foundation.
