NPAC to host StepCrew, preview concerts

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center, along with season sponsors StateWide Ford and Van Wert Federal Savings Bank, proudly announces a night of musical energy on Tuesday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m.

The 2015-2016 Community Concert Series presented by Vancrest Health Care Centers will be unveiled from stage. Dynamic video of the thrilling five events will provide a sample of the new Community Concert Series that is truly a musical adventure. It’s colorful, creative, finely crafted and a bit crazy in a musically amazing kind of way.

Since 1953, the Community Concert Series has entertained thousands. Guests this coming Tuesday will get to know this value-packed and musically-acclaimed series that entertains throughout the year for as low as $60 for all five events.

New this year is the opportunity to group the Community Concert Series with five themed buffet dinners at Willow Bend Country Club for one deliciously low value price.

Then, The StepCrew will fill the Central Mutual stage with excitement and energy as the group performs Irish Stepdancing, Ottawa Valley Stepdancing and Modern Tap. These six dynamic performers excel in traditional forms of dance and create brand new, modern fusions of all three styles.

As if dancing weren’t enough, The StepCrew boasts three world-class fiddlers backed by an amazing five-piece ensemble comprised of some of the most talented and respected musicians in the Celtic music scene today.

Audiences rave that The StepCrew is a brilliant visual and musical display of the most talented dancers seen. The 2014-15 Community Concert Series is sponsored by Delphos Hearing Aid Center, Central Insurance Companies, Taylor Auto Sales Inc., Slusher’s Jewelry and Tuxedo, and Van Wert County Hospital.

Tickets are still available for The StepCrew performance beginning at just $10 for students. Student tickets must be purchased through the Box Office, noon-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All other tickets may be purchased online at NPACVW.ORG or by calling the Box Office at 419.238.6722.
