Josette Marie Madeleine Brown

Josette Marie Madeleine Brown, 90, of Van Wert, died Friday, April 10, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born September 10, 1924, in Mombasa, Kenya, the daughter of Andre and Nicolle Gayet, who both preceded  her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel L. (Cheryl) Brown and Dennis Brown, both of Van Wert; and a sister, Marie Helene Gayet of Paris, France.

A brother, Remy Gayet, also preceded her in death.

She is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and retired from the former Aeroquip Corporation in Van Wert as export manager.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father Stan Szybka officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements were handled by Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.
