MSVW sets date of 2015 annual dinner

The Main Street Van Wert Board of Directors will host its annual dinner on Monday, April 20, at the Black Angus on Main restaurant in downtown Van Wert. The event begins at 5:30pm, with dinner served at 6:15 p.m.

MSVW is excited to welcome Steve Coon to Van Wert as the keynote speaker for this event. Coon is the owner of Coon Restoration & Sealants Inc., Northmark Properties and Historic Developers LLC — companies that rehabilitate historic structures into market rate office, retail and residential spaces. As a strong proponent of historic preservation and a dedicated downtown developer in cities across Ohio, Coon is passionate about preserving historic buildings for future generations.

He will share his love of downtowns and the strong impact successful building rehabilitations create within a community. Alexander & Bebout Inc. and Slusher’s Jewelry sponsor the 2015 annual dinner.

The evening will conclude with brief highlights from the past year of downtown business activity, including several special recognitions.
