Bradly A. Matthews

Bradly A. Matthews, 36, of Scott, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, in Eckerman, Michigan.

He was born September 15, 1978, in Van Wert, the son of Steven Matthews, who survives in Scott, and Shelly (Brotherwood) Thomas, who survives in Van Wert. He married Jamie (McCoy) Matthews, who survives in Scott.

Other survivors include his stepmother, Kath Matthews of Ohio City; a stepfather, James Brown of Van Wert; four children, Ashley Matthews, Lauren Matthews, Evan Matthews, and Adilynn Shaffer; three stepchildren, Cole Allison, Timothy Shepherd and Nathaniel Shepherd; a half-brother, Nathan Thomas; and one sister, Heather Karnehm of Van Wert.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the funeral home.
