The Crestview Knights’ baseball team just finished a stretch of games, playing nine games in14 days. The Knights have turned their season around from a 0-4 start to winning their next five games. Senior Preston Geradot said, “We have had games every day this week and it has started to get tiring lately, but we continue to pull through the games as a team.” The Knights have another long week with four more games.

Crestview’s prom is this Saturday, at Willow Bend. Promenade will be held at Crestview High School starting at 6:15 p.m. for students who choose to eat at Willow Bend, 7:15 p.m. for students who choose not to eat at Willow Bend. The juniors have worked the past four weeks on decorations and props to make this prom memorable. Junior Haley Helm said, “We have been making decorations such as masks, name tags, and signs for the seniors’ prom and I believe that the seniors will love all the hard work we have put into this years’ prom.” The theme of prom is Mardi Gras Masquerade.

The Crestview track team had an invitational last Saturday at Minster. The boys finished 11th and the girls finished 14th out of 16 teams. Tuesday they had senior night against Jefferson and Lincolnview. They get the weekend off but come back with the county meet on Tuesday. Senior thrower Corban Grubb said, “We are about half way through the season and the Minster Invitational has showed us where we are as a team and what we must improve on individually.”
