VWECC plans kindergarten open house

The Van Wert Early Childhood Center will hold an open house at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, for the 2015-2016 kindergarten students and their parents.

All registered kindergarten students have been sent a letter inviting them to attend. Upon arrival at 6:30, parents will pick up a packet of information regarding the upcoming year. Parents and children will gather in the school commons for a general meeting and then move to the classrooms, where children and parents will meet with their teachers.

Parents and children will then have the opportunity to take a quick bus ride allowing for parents to discuss bus safety rules. The program will conclude at approximately 7:45 that evening.
