Last weekend Crestview juniors put on a successful prom for the senior class at Willow Bend Country Club. The evening’s theme was “Mardi Gras Masquerade” and the students enjoyed themselves with an optional dinner and a night of dancing followed by after-prom. After-prom was held at Olympic Lanes where students were able bowl until 2:30 a.m. Senior Whitney Smart said, “Prom was very enjoyable for me, it was decorated very well and it was fun dancing with my senior friends one last time.”

The high school track team came off of the county meet. The teams that were in it were Crestview, Lincolnview, and Van Wert. Crestview had some top finishers but they are still looking at the big picture, which starts at districts. Friday the track team will head to Archbold to compete at a big stage. Senior Alex Cunningham said, “I am looking forward to go to Archbold because it is always fun and every event is made as a relay, so our team can come closer and we can help each other improve on our weaknesses.”

The Knights softball team is still moving on with their season. They have had two games this week already with another tonight and Friday night. Senior Terra Crowle said, “We went through a slump from hitting, but we are now getting past that and are still looking on ways to improve.” They are still looking for their best games to be played. They are also closing in on their tournament and are planning on making it a success.
