Class Blue opens OC ‘Arts in Park’ series
Arts in the Park information
OHIO CITY — Ohio City’s “Arts in the Park” will begin this Friday with local favorite Cass Blue. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. at Memorial Park in the village of Ohio City on Main Street.
Blue is a singer-songwriter-musician who has deep roots in blues, rock, and American folk. Along with heartfelt original music, she will also provide music from some of her biggest influences, including Kathy Mattea, Janis Joplin, Joe Walsh, Neil Young and an array of others. Also catch her on the May 22 when she will be performing a duet with Dana Fair for a special “Arts in the Park” event.
All events are held on the second Friday of every month from May through September. This year, organizers are adding an additional two dates: May 22 and July 24.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the friendly, hometown atmosphere of the village of Ohio City and listen to some great music. All events are free to the public and family oriented. Coolers, blankets, and lawn chairs are welcome.
