Darlene N. Ditto

Darlene N. Ditto, 81, died Thursday morning, May 7, 2015, at Woodcrest of Decatur, Indiana.

She was born September 4, 1933, in Guymon, Oklahoma, the daughter of Gustave W. and Della (McCaskey) Sinning, who both preceded her in death. On April 22, 1956, she married Clifford R. Ditto, who died October 13, 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Gina E. (Roy) Kuhns of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one son, Ray A. (Laura Eichhorn) Ditto of Decatur; two grandsons; a stepgranddaughter; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Sinning of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Ernest “Joe” (Gale) Sinning of Van Wert; and a sister, Beatrice Schmitt of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Seven adult brothers, Elmer, Earl, Elvin, Dean, Francis, James and Robert, and infant brother Albert; and four sisters, Ella Landress, Edith Pearl Hinds, Eunice Webber and Charlene Spoor, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Josh Tissot officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
