Memorial Day service set in Ohio City

OHIO CITY — American Legion Post 346 in Ohio City will be conducting a Memorial Day service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, in Veterans Memorial Park at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The Van Wert Area Community Concert Band will provide music, beginning 30 minutes prior to the service. Sarah Smith, former air weapons officer with the U.S. Air Force and currently Van Wert County economic development director, will be the guest speaker.

Soup and sandwiches will be served after the service in the Legion Post-Community Park Building.

In case of inclement weather the service will be held at the Legion Post, 306 Lambert St. in Ohio City.
