The 16th annual Van Wert County Hospital All Star Football Game hosted by the Van Wert Booster Club will be held Friday, June 12, at Eggerss Stadium in Van Wert.

The gates will open at 6:30 p.m., with player introductions taking place at 7:20 that evening. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Thirty-three players from the Western Buckeye League will compete against a combined squad of 33 players from the Lima area and Northwest Conference.

Area players featured include two Cougars, Chandler Adams and Ethan Williams, while several area players are on the Lima Area/Northwest Conference roster. They include Jake Lippi and Corbin Grubb of Crestview, David Sinn, Jacob Dingus, Tyler Showalter and Riley Moore of Wayne Trace, Trevor Dudgeon and Jordan McCann of Delphos Jefferson, Evan Hays of Delphos St. John’s, and Logan Vandemark, Andrew Emery and Elijah Hawk of Spencerville (click here for full rosters of both teams).

All tickets are $5 at the gate. There will be no pre-sale of tickets.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Van Wert Booster Club.
