Local school boards set special meetings

Both Van Wert City and Lincolnview Local boards of education have scheduled special meetings to take care of unfinished business.

Van Wert City Board of Education will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 31 — immediately prior to graduation ceremonies in the high school gymnasium — to take action on several items. An agenda has not yet been released for the meeting.

Lincolnview Local Board of Education will meet at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 28, to take action on Tax Increment Financing (TIF) agreements in York and Jackson townships, to consider personal service contracts, an employee resignation, an overnight field trip request, to approve student handbooks and conduct an executive session to discuss employment or dismissal of a public employee.

A formal agenda is expected sometime today.
