Delphos Police Dept. information

DELPHOS — A Delphos accountant has been arrested following a search of her business 11 days ago.

Jennifer A. Edelbrock, owner of Edelbrock-Reitz Accounting in Delphos, was arrested at her home in Kalida and charged with one count of passing bad checks in an amount exceeding $7,500, making the charge a felony of the fourth degree.

Edelbrock, who was arrested at approximately noon on Friday by officers from the Delphos Police Department, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, is currently being held without bond in the Allen County Jail.

Law enforcement officials will continue to analyze documents and computer files obtained during a search of her business on May 19 and more criminal charges could be forthcoming, according to Delphos Police Chief Kyle Fittro.

A number of items of evidence were taken from the business on May 19 and the process of analyzing the data began soon after that. After the search was completed, the Delphos Police Department continued to receive complaints from area business owners regarding their business dealings with Edelbrock’s company.
