VW v-ball program sets summer camps
VWHS volleyball information
The Van Wert High School Volleyball Head Coach Matt Krites and his staff and players will be conducting two camps this summer in the VWHS gymnasium.
The 2015 Cougar high school volleyball camp will include two sessions. The first is for girls in grades 9-12, will run from July 27-30 in the VWHS gym. A camp for varsity/junior varsity players will run from 8 a.m. until noon each day, while a camp for freshman players will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day. Nashea Kiehl will provide instruction for the high school camp, while players should be at there 30 minutes early for warm-ups.
The fee for the high school camp is $30 and includes four days of instruction and a camp t-shirt.
Registration (click here for a high school camp registration form) and payment should be returned by Friday, July 10, to Krites. Those mailed can be sent to 14505 Lincoln Highway, Van Wert, OH 45891.
An elementary/middle school volleyball camp will be held the same week, from 3-5:30 p.m. in the VWHS gym, for girls in grades 5-8.
Instruction will be provided by the VWHS volleyball coaching staff and current and former players.
The fee for the elementary/middle school camp is $30 and will cover four days of volleyball instruction, a drawstring bag and a camp t-shirt.
