Payne ball tournaments announced

PAYNE — The 2015 Payne 8 and Under Boys’ Baseball Coach-Pitch Tournament and the 8 and Under Girls’ Softball Coach-Pitch Tournament will be held Friday through Sunday, July 10-12, at the Payne Community Park and School Fields.

Entry fee is $150 per team, and the draw for both tournaments will be held Monday, July 6, at 6:30 p.m.  All teams are guaranteed three games, weather permitting. Awards will be presented to at least the top two teams in each tournament, while individual awards will be presented to a player from each team after games.

These tournaments have included teams from both northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio in the past and are expected to fill quickly.
