Martha R. (Brown) Bowersock

Martha R. (Brown) Bowersock, 94, of Van Wert, died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born October 25, 1920, in Jay County, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Blanche (Michael) Brown, who both preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosalie Beeson of California and Patti (Ted) Baldwin of Van Wert; four sons, Sam (Janet) Scott, Frank (Denise) Scott and Johnny Ray Scott, all of Van Wert, and Mike (Sharon) Grubb of Decatur, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

One grandchild and one great-grandchild also preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at First United Brethren In Christ Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Jody Harr officiating.

Calling hours are an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
