ODOT lists ongoing area road projects

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which includes the counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot, has listed the following highway construction and maintenance projects being performed in Van Wert, Paulding and Putnam counties.

Van Wert County
Ohio 49 between Ohio 81 and U.S. 224 will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for removal of pavement reflectors in preparation for a chip seal project. The Van Wert County ODOT maintenance garage is doing the work.
Ohio 697, west of Middle Point Wetzel Road and approximately five miles west of the city of Delphos, closed June 8 and will remain closed through the end of July to replace the bridge over the Auglaize River. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 116 to Ohio 81 to Ohio 66 back onto Ohio 697. Brumbaugh Construction Inc. of Arcanum is doing the work.
Paulding County
Ohio 111, east of U.S. 127 and Ohio 637, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone during the week for berming of the roadside. The Paulding County ODOT maintenance garage is performing the work.
U.S. 127, between Garfield Avenue and Jackson Street in the village of Paulding, is closed April 13 for approximately eight months for a sewer separation project. The traffic detour for this closure has changed. Traffic is now detoured onto Ohio 111, Ohio 637 and Ohio 114 back onto U.S. 127. VTF Excavation of Celina is performing work.
Putnam County
Ohio 108, between Ohio 15 and the Henry County line, will be reduced to one lane throughout the week for pavement repair. The Putnam County ODOT maintenance garage is performing the work.
Ohio 190 on the south end of Fort Jennings has been closed indefinitely as of July 1 for an emergency culvert repair. Traffic is being detoured onto Ohio 189, Ohio 115 and U.S. 30.
Ohio 189 at the east edge of Ottoville closed May 27 for an emergency culvert repair. The road is closed for an indefinite amount of time. Traffic is being detoured onto Ohio 190, Ohio 634 and U.S. 224 back to Ohio 189.
