Ohio Challengers 4-H Club meets

The Ohio Challengers 4-H club met in the Edgewood Community Building.  There were 22 members, one advisor, and three visitors present.   Maddie Lamb, Health Officer led the meeting while Michael Joseph led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H pledge.

Demonstrations were given by Emily Karcher on how to make a fairy garden, and Zach Forwerck gave one on the different ways to make a light bulb light up.

Business was covered by Mrs. Wortman.  Officer books are due to the Extension Office on Aug. 22.  Hailey Sheets, Melissa Joseph and Michael Joseph attended 4-H camp at Camp Palmer.

The club fun day is scheduled for July 29, 1 p.m. at Camp Clay, and the next regular meeting will be held on Aug. 6, 1 p.m. at the Edgewood Community Building.  Livestock judging and make up judging for those areas judged on July 21 (Foods, Sewing, etc.) will also be held on Aug.  6 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.  Rabbit tattoo will be held on Aug. 15 from 7:30-10:30 a.m.  Black Inc. registration ends on Aug. 7, and interviews will be held on Aug. 15.
