Mad Ants to hold dance team tryouts

FORT WAYNE, Indiana — The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, want to remind those interested in trying out for a spot on the 2015-16 Madame Ants Dance team that the ninth annual Madame Ants auditions will be held this Saturday, August 1, in the Concordia Theological Seminary Gymnasium, 6600 N. Clinton St. in Fort Wayne.

The Mad Ants are in search of fun, outgoing, classy ladies with either dance or cheer experience. The dance team will perform at all 24 home games of the 2015-2016 season and will make several community appearances throughout the year.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and be able to commit to two practices a week and all games.

Registration fee is $20. More information and registration forms are available on the Mad Ants website, www.fortwaynehoops.com. Registration form must be returned with a recent full-length photo. Registration will begin at 2 p.m. with auditions beginning at 3 p.m.
