Mervin Laudick

Mervin “Mike” Laudick, 91, of Spring City, Tennessee, and formerly of Delphos, died Thursday, July 30, 2015, at The Bridge at Rockwood in Rockwood, Tennessee.

He was born June 19, 1924, in Delphos, the son of Alfred David and Adelyn Catherine (Reindel) Laudick, who both preceded him in death. On May 20, 1950, he married Patricia (Adams) Laudick, who died April 28, 2003.

American Flag for obituaries 6-2011Survivors include a son, David (Ann) Laudick of Spring City, Tennessee; one daughter, Diane (Brett) Stratton of Bluffton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Eugene and Gordon J. Laudick, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Daniel Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Fort Jennings, with graveside military honors performed by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 3, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 5:50 that evening.
