Same scene, different views

The Van Wert Area Photography Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 114 S. Race St. The theme of the meeting is “How different people view the same scene or event”.  To accomplish this, all who took part in the Downtown Van Wert Photo Shoot are asked to bring what they consider their best three pictures on a flash drive for projection and discussion.

In addition, they or anyone else, can bring three pictures of the flooding Van Wert experienced not too long ago.

As they say in the commercial, “But wait. That’s not all!”  The 127 Garage Sale and the Rib Fest are coming up this weekend. Larry Lee of the Van Wert Area Visitors and Convention Bureau has asked for pictures of those events that he might use in future activity promotions.  Photo Club Members are challenged to photograph their own unique views of those events and bring their three best photos of each on flash drives also.

Weather permitting, the group will adjourn to Woodland Cemetery for a photo shoot.
