VW Outdoorsmen plan Ladies Day event

VW County Outdoorsmen information

The Van Wert County Outdoorsmen Association will be hosting a Ladies Day at the Range on Saturday, August 22.

This event is for women who are looking for a chance to get instruction in the use of firearms. The class focuses on firearm usage, firearm safety and how much fun shooting sports can be. Women and girls ages 10 and up are welcome to participate; however, the younger girls will need to have their mother or grandmother with them.

Participants will be using .22 rifles and .22 pistols only and do not need to bring any equipment unless they have safety glasses or hearing protection.

Pre-registration is currently taking place and space is limited. There will only be one session, which runs from 9 a.m. until noon.
