Lancer boys dominate NWC golf match

OTTAWA — The Lincolnview boys’ golf team dominated a four-team Northwest Conference golf meet held Tuesday at Country Acres Golf Club in Ottawa.

The Lancers carded a 170 for the nine-hole match, 25 strokes better than second-place Paulding’s 195. Spencerville was third with a 205 total, while Columbus Grove finished fourth with a 209.

Match medalist was Lancer Joshah Rager, who had a 36. Match co-runner-up medalists were Lincolnview’s Ryan Moody and Derek Youtsey, who both had a 44. Other Lancer scores were Reece Farmer, 46; Jaden Youtsey, 48; and Braden Thatcher, 55.

Lincolnview is now 5-0 overall on the young season.
