Knight v-ball team victorious in tri-match

CONVOY — The Crestview Knight volleyball program hosted a tri-match with Archbold and Stryker. The Lady Knights defeated Archbold 26-24 and 25-15, and Stryker 25-14 and 25-12, while Archbold downed Stryker in two games.

Leading the way for Crestview in its match against Archbold were the following:

Serving – Sydney Bowen, 22/23 with an ace; Katie McClure, 8/8 with 2 aces; Haley Helm, 8/8 with an ace; Tianna Rager, 4/4 with an ace.

Hitting – Helm and Claire Zaleski, 6 kills each; Brady Guest, 4 kills; Rager, 3 kills.

Setting – Helm, 10 assists; Guest, 8 assists.

Digs – McClure, 13 digs; Rager, 6 digs.

Leading the way for the Knights in the match against Stryker were the following:

Serving – Helm, 13/13 with 2 aces; Zaleski, 8/9 with 3 aces; Bowen, 8/9 with 2 aces.

Hitting – Helm, 6 kills; McClure, 5 kills; Zaleski, Maci Baker, Guest, 4 kills each.

Setting – Guest, 12 assists; Helm, 7 assists.

Digs – McClure, 11 digs; Zaleski, 7 digs.

Crestview will be back in action on Tuesday as the Knights host Coldwater for a non-conference match. The junior varsity match will begin at 5:30 p.m.
