CHP to raise funds with salad buffet

Community Health Professionals staff and volunteers will serve a lunchtime salad buffet on Thursday, September 17, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 1159 Westwood Drive in Van Wert, with proceeds going to CHP hospice services.

The public is invited to eat in or carry out for a donation of $5 for the salad buffet, which will include freshly made salads — many homemade by volunteers — plus Rager’s sausage sandwiches prepared by the Van Wert Optimist Club for an additional donation of $3.

Two long-serving volunteers, Imogene Hughes (40 years) and Ruth Osting (48 years), will also be recognized for their years of service to Community Health Professionals.
