ODOT projects announced for week

LIMA – The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) District 1 has released maintenance and construction projects ongoing in the district. Those include the following:

Van Wert County

Ohio 116, at the south end of Venedocia, is now open following three culvert replacements.

Ohio 49, south of U.S. 224, is now open following a culvert replacement.

Ohio 49 south of Payne, will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for berm work. Work is being performed by the Paulding County ODOT maintenance garage.

U.S. 24 at the U.S. 127 interchange, may be reduced to one lane through the work zone at times for slope work along the roadside. Work is being performed by the Paulding County ODOT maintenance garage.

U.S. 127, between Garfield Avenue and Jackson Street in the village of Paulding, closed April 13 for approximately eight months for a sewer separation project. Traffic is detoured onto Ohio 111, Ohio 637 and Ohio 114 back onto U.S. 127. Work is being performed by VTF Excavation, Celina.

Putnam County

Ohio 109, just north of Ohio 613, north of West Leipsic, is now open following a culvert repair.

U.S. 224, between Ohio 634 and Ohio 190, is now open following a culvert replacement.

Ohio 189 at the east edge of Ottoville, closed May 27 for an unplanned culvert repair. The road is closed for an indefinite amount of time. Traffic is being detoured onto Ohio 190, Ohio 634 and U.S. 224 back to Ohio 189.
