Jack N. Gunsett
Jack N. Gunsett, 58, of Convoy, died at 8:40 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born March 24, 1957, in Van Wert, the son of Joan (Sowers) Gunsett, who survives in Convoy, and John Gunsett, who preceded him in death. On July 12, 1975, he married Susan R. (LaRue) Gunsett, who survives in Convoy.
Other survivors include a daughter, Kelly (Chad) Marks of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two brothers, Craig Gunsett and Gary Gunsett, both of Van Wert; two brothers-in-law, Steve LaRue of Arizona and Chris (Julie) LaRue of Convoy; three sisters-in-law, Peggy (Ed) Fritz of Woodburn, Indiana, and Jean (Scott) Dickman and Jill (Don) Carrier, both of Convoy; two grandchildren, Dylan and Jenna Marks; his father-in-law, Richard LaRue; and several nieces and nephews.
His mother-in-law, Marlyn LaRue; and a son, Derek Gunsett, also preceded him in death.
Jack worked at Aeroquip/Eaton Corporation in Van Wert for 28 years. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy.
Jack was a 1975 Crestview High School graduate, a member of the Convoy Fox Hunters Club and was a veteran of the United States Navy, entering in 1975 and serving eight years, achieving the rank of petty officer first class, AD1 Air Crew, aviation machinist mate. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy, with the Rev. Michael Saylor officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Monday, October 26, at Gearhart-Jurczyk Funeral home in Convoy and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Preferred memorials: Redeemer Lutheran Church for the upcoming youth trip or Convoy EMS Squad.
