Eaton gives to United Way

Last Saturday, the sixth annual United Way Bag Bingo was held at the Van Wert Council on Aging Center. This event is put together by Eaton’s United Way Committee (above), which meets monthly to plan events promoting United Way awareness at the Eaton Van Wert plant. This year’s United Way chairman was Missy Clay and she has headed up all of the activities. The committee is made up of volunteers who believe in helping others. They do everything from planning the event, collecting donations, and working the day of the event. This year, the committee presented the Van Wert United Way with a check for $7,790.64. This amount was raised at the Bingo event and other fundraising events at Eaton. (United Way photo)
