Ronald D. Hartman

Ronald D. Hartman, 72, of Van Wert, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in the emergency room at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born January 9, 1943, in Van Wert County, the son of Robert L. Hartman Sr. and Goldie Geraldine (Woods) Hartman, who both preceded him in death. On February 18, 1968, he married Delores A. (Germann) Hartman, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a sister, Roberta (David) Mohler of Richwood; two brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Robert L. Hartman and David Hartman, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, November 30, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Timothy Simms officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
