L’view Jr. High girls’ basketball information

Lincolnview’s seventh and eighth grade girls’ basketball teams welcomed Lima Central Catholic for their home opener on November 28.

In the seventh grade contest, the Lancers we able to jump out to a halftime lead and hold on for a 34-27 victory over the T-Birds. The seventh grade girls got an outstanding 11-point game from Sami Sellers, who led the Lady Lancers in scoring. Also in double figures for the Lancers was Annie Mendenhall with 10 points. The seventh grade team runs its record to 2-1 on the year.

In the eighth grade game, the Lancers fell behind early and couldn’t catch up. Lincolnview ended up losing the game to a good LCC team by the score of 42-15.

Leading the way for the Lancers were Lana Carey with 6 points and Jordan Decker with 2 points (2-for-2 t the line. The eighth grade is now 0-3.
