Knights give back
By Amanda Cole

It’s that time of year again where everyone is spending time with their families and sharing gifts on Christmas morning. Some families are not as lucky and do not get to give or receive gifts. However, students of Crestview are giving back this holiday season. The student council is holding an event called Toss a Toy where the students are supplying families in need with toys this holiday season. This event started December 7 and goes through Dec. 11. The students will also hold a penny pitch where the students bring in money for some friendly competition between classes. “We collect all the money that is donated and go shopping for the toys,” said junior class president Ford Tatum.
The Crestview FCCLA is holding its “Kids’ Knight Out” tomorrow. The FCCLA will show a movie for the kids and have many activities planned for the night. The event this year is called “Knight in Who-ville” and the kids will have the chance to dress up as their favorite character from the movie. Courtney Cearns a member of FCCLA said, “I’m excited to spend time with the kids.” Another member of FCCLA, Kalissa Leal, said, “I’m excited to see what the kids dress up as.”
