Vicky K. Stegaman

Vicky K. Stegaman, 68, of Van Wert, died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born September 3, 1947, in Van Wert, the daughter of George E. and Gurtrude Francille (Strunkenburg) Sowers, who both preceded him in death. On June 28, 1989, she married Harold “Doc” Stegaman, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two stepchildren, Gary Stegaman of Middle Point and Bobby Stegaman of Van Wert; a sister, Kathy (William) Jenkins of Van Wert; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A stepson, Rodney Stegaman; and one brother, Greg Sowers, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, at Gearhart & Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with Pastor Michael Saylor officiating.

Calling hours are from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
