Boy charged with shooting truck window

A young Van Wert boy is being charged with using a BB gun or pellet gun to shoot out the window of a semi tractor-trailer truck Wednesday while the vehicle was in the 100 block of South Washington Street.

The boy is being charged in Van Wert County Juvenile Court in connection with the incident, which resulted in a portion of the street being closed until an investigation was completed.
